I wrote a lullaby for my girlfriend’s boy. To me, he’s pretty much mine…and next weekend I will sing to him, the first time I have sang TO another human being in over a year. I love this child. He is changing me, if nothing else, for the better.
Yes, I want you to miss me. I want you to miss me so bad that it hurts you, that it tears at you to see me smile. I want you to hurt when you see me beaming holding that child. I want you to suffer just like I did for you.
